First, We Get to Know You

Every smart home is unique, so we begin every installation with a one-on-one session with you at home or in our Control4 certified showroom. In our showroom, you’ll have the chance to see and interact with smart technology systems, which may help you decide what you want in your own home.

Be prepared to get DEEP with our team, and don’t hold anything back about what you want from your smart home. We’ll talk a lot about your lifestyle and the technologies that would make your day-to-day life more accessible, more convenient, safer or more comfortable (and hopefully all four). If you’re new to smart technology and want to start with one system (like smart lighting or whole-home audio), that’s perfectly fine. With a scalable home automation platform like Control4, you can add on connected devices, rooms and subsystems at your own pace.

Now is also the time to discuss your space availability and budget concerns. We’ll work with you to build the dream home you want at the budget you need. Let’s say you’re interested in a home theater but don’t have space right now or the budget to remodel. That’s not a problem for us — we can talk about transforming your living room into a multipurpose media room with hidden technology, dimmable lights and a stellar AV system that you can activate with just the touch of a button.

Then, We Get to Work

After we’ve designed your smart home and gotten your approval, you’ll be assigned a project manager to oversee every aspect of the project. There’s a lot that goes into a smart home installation, including:

• Wiring and cabling for hardwired systems
• Network configuration
• Hardware setup (speakers, TVs, light fixtures, etc.)
• Control interface setup (on-wall keypads and touchscreens)
• Software installation and programming
• Integrating multiple smart systems into your Control4 home automation system

We’ll work with you to communicate often, stay on schedule and install everything to your design specifications during the entire process.

And Finally, We Stick Around

After all this work we’ve done together, did you think we would abandon you? Of course not. After your installation is complete, we’ll be on-hand to show you how to use your Control4 system and guide you through selecting personalized settings and creating automated scenes for your devices.
